Dentists at Heritage Dental Care in Northfield, MN

Dr. David Brust is a native of Northfield, MN and a graduate of NHS. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from St. Olaf College in 1991. Dr. Brust graduated with a high distinction from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1996. He was awarded an Oral Surgery Fellowship at the Minneapolis Veterans Hospital where he practiced for one year. Upon completion of the fellowship, he returned to Northfield where he joined Division Street Dentists, now Heritage Dental Care.

Dr. Brust is a member of the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association, and Southeastern District Dental Society. He is also a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Honor Society.

Dave lives in Northfield and has two daughters. In his spare time he enjoys the kids’ activities, outdoor sports and recreation.

Dr. Buck is a Northfield native. He earned a B.A. from St. Olaf College in Chemistry in 1985 and graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1990.

Dr. Buck is active in various dental study groups in which he keeps current on new developments in dentistry. He is also a member of the Minnesota Dental Association and American Dental Association.

He enjoys all areas of dentistry and especially likes helping anxious people feel more relaxed in the dental setting. Dr. Buck and his wife Cheryl reside in Northfield and have two adult children.

In his spare time he enjoys spending time at the family cabin in Northern Minnesota.

Dr. Michael Thompson grew up in Grand Forks, North Dakota and attended St. John’s University where he earned a B.A. in Biological Sciences in 2009. 

He then attended the University of Minnesota School Dentistry receiving his D.D.S. degree in 2013. Dr. Thompson is a member of the American Dental Society along with the Minnesota Dental Association.

Dr. Thompson enjoys all aspects of dentistry and particularly working with youngsters in an effort to introduce them to dentistry while minimizing their anxiety.

Dr. Thompson, with his wife, Kaitlin, two daughters and son, reside in Northfield and enjoy spending time outdoors in Northern Minnesota during the summers.
